- Salt and pepper to taste

- Prep the Pretzels: Take frozen pretzels out, place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper, and let them thaw for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F). 
- Make the Filling: Wash and slice green onions. In a bowl, mix crème fraîche, diced ham, egg, green onions, cornstarch, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper (sparingly). Stir in grated cheese. 
- Fill & Season: Spoon the filling into the gaps of the pretzels. Lightly moisten the edges with water and sprinkle with coarse salt. 
- Bake: Bake in the lower third of the oven for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. For multiple trays, use 200°C (392°F) fan mode.
